‘Diwali Utsav’ was organised by North Star Air Defence Brigade at North Star Officers Institute, here. The institute was decked up in a grandiose manner and wore a festive look. The Chief Guest for the evening was Lt Gen Deepak Kapoor, AVSM, SM, VSM, ADC, GOC-in-C, Northern Command. The event was inaugurated by Mrs Kirti Kapoor, President AWWA by lighting a lamp. This was followed by a string of melodious songs and skits. The highlights of the cultural programme were the song and dance performances showcasing the local culture. The event enthralled the audience.
