| Shiv Sena workers stage dharna | | | EARLY TIMES REPORTER

The activists of Shiv Sena under the leadership of its General Secretary Ashok Gupta stayed on dharna in front of the Director Agriculture’s office here today.
The activists who were on dharna were demanding early supply of fertilizer feed, seed and agriculture kits to the farmers, Ashok Gupta while addressing the protestors said, why there is short age of seed Fertilizers etc with the agriculture department, when the season is on foe sowing of seeds in full swing . He said, centrally sponsored scheme, ‘Atma-Scheme’ launched for farmers, under which farmers will be provided free soil testing, seed, pumps and water spraying machines to OBC category and poor farmers is totally ignored here. He said to govt. should take immediate steps is this regard.
Later on en. Secretary along with a deputation met Dy. Directors Agriculture and apprised him about the misappropriation of crores of rupees at Govt, Agriculture farm Chinor, Beside other irregularities. He asked the Dy. Director to provide regularly the details of agriculture items etc. provided to farmers.
Among others who sat on dharna includes Suresh Kumar, Labha Ram, Sham Pal Lal Singh, Surinder Singh, Raj Kumar and Payar Singh
