| Tarigami calls on PM, Sonia | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Srinagar, July 21: State Secretary CPI (M), Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami, today called on Prime Minister of India Dr Manmohan Singh, UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi and Home Minister P Chitambaram and exchanged views regarding the prevailing situation and issues related to the people primarily the youth of Kashmir.
Tarigami put forth certain suggestions and was assured by the leaders that his suggestions will be considered.
He urged upon the leadership that what Kashmir's required is initiatives based on humane approach.
CPI (M) also stressed that every effort must be made to ensure that there is no more loss of life.
