JJHCS calls on Deputy CM | | | early times report JAMMU, July 21: Jammu Journalists Housing Corporative Society (JJHCS) has called on Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand and apprised him about the demand of the society of having Press Housing Colony for Jammu journalists in Jammu. The members of the society said that they have already taken up demand of release of land for setting up of Press Colony in Jammu and Chief Minister and he (Deputy Chief Minister) had already assured that Govt will provide Press Colony for Journalists of Jammu. "Since the Coalition Government has been rendering yeoman service towards the masses at large, we the Journalists fraternity are pinning high hopes on the coalition government", the members said. The Deputy Chief Minister after giving patient hearing assured the members of Jammu Journalists Housing Co-operative Society that steps were afoot to set up Press Housing Colony in Jammu. He further said, "Since Govt has promised to give Jammu Journalists a housing colony, we will keep up promise and set up housing colony soon". The journalists thanked Deputy Chief Minister, Tara Chand for taking keen interest towards the demand of journalists.
