Jammu, July 21: The Bari Brahmana Industries Association (BBIA) expressed grave concern over the inconvenience being caused to the public on national highway at Balole bridge because of non cooperation between Gree and NHAI due to which public at large is suffering during peak hours especially during rainy days. Addressing the BBIA member, chairman Davinder Mahajan said it has made it accident prone area as existing bridge is very narrow and in bad condition .
He said the new bridge is almost complete but work has been shelved on it for the last six months due to monetary disputes between Gree and Nhai.
Both are adamant and not interested to complete the bridge which was supposed to have been completed by June 2010. BBIA members on the occasion appealed to Kamal Nath, minister surface and transport of Govt. of India and chief minister Omar Abdullah to intervene in the matter and to resolve the issue so that the grievance of public is resolved.
