| CM sanctions Rs 2.75 lakh to Chowkibal fire sufferers | | | early times report
Kupwara, July 21: The Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah today sanctioned Rs. 2.75 lakh out of Chief Minister's Relief Fund among 55 fire sufferer families of Chowkibal.
The relief @ Rs. 5000 per family was disbursed by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kupwara among the affected families.
This is in addition to the normal relief the affected families would be getting from the Government.
It may be recalled that the Chief Minister during his visit to the area two days ago had promised relief to the fire sufferers.
