| Global Convent organizes festival meet | | | JAMMU | OCT 22
The Global Convent chapter of Jammu, Bal Bhawan affiliated with National Bal Bhawan organized a function in connection with Eid and Diwali. Manjeet Singh Minister of state for school education was the chief guest on the occasion. The children of the school presented colourful various cultural items, highlighting the importance of the festivals, which were appreciated by the audience.
Speaking on the occasion minister appreciated the role of organizers for organizing such function. He said children are future of our nation because they have to play an important role for in promoting the national integration and communal harmony. He also threw light on the importance of Eid and Diwali and said that both these festivals give the message of peace and live which is a need of hour.
