| Milchar Front demands Doda's representation in cabinet | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, July 21: the general secretary of J&K Milchar front, Kuldeep Kumar Rao has appealed to congress high command to induct a member into the state cabinets. In a statement issued here today Rao has said that since long Doda has been ignored for giving representation in the state cabinets. Beside this he also demanded district status for Bhadarwah a long genuine demand of the public of the area. He further said the combined population of three tehsil of Bhadareah, Gandoh and Thatri is more than the population of newly created of district Kishtwar and much more than of newly created district in Kashmir valley, and as such deserve to be a full-fledged district. He also demanded completion of all roads construction of which was taken some years back. Rao also demanded delimitation of parliament and assembly segments before the next elections and added When Doda-Udhampur-Kathua were made and parliamentary segment, their combined population was less than half of what it is today the population of old district Doda new is nearly same (10 lacs) as the combined population Doda Udhampur-Kathua segment was at the time of its inception. He also demanded tehsil be delimited and made a single assembly constituency.
