‘Tame Mufti, PDP without delay’, JKNPP urges PM
Bhim Singh condemns Mufti’s demand for discussing ‘Self-Rule’, Demilitarization
10/22/2006 11:13:13 PM
JAMMU OCT-22-
Chairman Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party Prof Bhim Singh has strongly condemned the highly provocative demand of former Chief Minister and PDP Patron Mufti Mohammed Sayed that Pakistan President’s proposal of ambiguous Self-Rule and so-called de-miniaturization should also be taken up for discussion by the Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh.
Addressing an emergency meeting of the Executive Committee of his party, Prof Singh has urged the Prime Minister to tame Mufti without any delay before he and his party could manage to endanger the security of the State and paralyze the secular harmony at the instance of his master’s operating across the border.
The Panthers Party has demanded a judicial inquiry into the tacit involvement of Mufti and his party leaders’ nexus with certain terrorist groups operating in Kashmir Valley as also a probe into the kidnapping drama of his (Mufti’s) daughter to seek release of dreaded terrorists from the prison, when Mufti was the Union Home Minister.
The party has also demanded a judicial probe into the mass exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from the Valley at the instance of Mufti, which he engineered as Union Home Minister by dictating his authority on the then Governor Jagmohan. Prof Singh has appealed the Chief Patron of Jammu and Kashmir Coordination Committee and Congress President Sonia Gandhi to urgently convene an emergency meeting of the coalition partners before the alliance are buried under its sown debris.
