Cry in Rajouri over BSNL's poor service

RAJOURI, July 23 : Even though there is hue and cry over poor GPRS service in Rajouri, BSNL authorities are not improving it. The service is not functioning properly for the last one week.
Though BSNL, Trunk Dialing Engineer Chawla had assured immediate restoration and improvement in the service, no action has been taken to provide the subscribers better service.
With the poor BSNL GPRS service, subscriber threatened to switch over to Airtel and Aircel GPRS. "I have been fed up with BSNL's GPRS service. Earlier it was best service but now it has turned defunct service for the last many days", Shahbaz Khan a subscriber bearing number 9419170787 said adding that he is giving rent of GPRS after every month but due to weak service, he is going to switch over to Aircel.
Various residents who have subscribed this service alleged nexus of BSNL with other private operators. "BSNL has weaken its signal to benefit others", a resident Manzoor Ahmed alleged adding that when the service was running in a proper way a week ago, what happened to it abruptly.
Thousands of customers in twin border districts of Rajouri and Poonch are paying Rs 250 per month and residents said that if the company is not improving its service, they should close their shop from Rajouri. "When BSNL cannot provide better service, we have no need of this company and we can opt for another cellular service provider", a resident said.
Journalists associated with various newspapers and channels are worst sufferer due to poor GPRS service. These scribes had to file their reports through internet and most of them were using the same. They are also complaining poor service for the last many days.
"Our most of the journalists in Rajouri are using GPRS for sending their daily files but for the last one week, they are facing acute problem", Emroz Suri, Coordinator of Rajouri Press Council said.
He added that BSNL authorities should immediately restore this service at its earlier position.
