Arun to hold coaching camp at JU from July 26 | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, July 23: Likewise last year, International footballer from Jammu, Arun Malhotra is holding a 10-day coaching camp for the upcoming young (under-17) players aiming at improving their skills and stamina at University of Jammu (JU) grounds, here from July 26. "Started last year, the camp has become an important annual feature for me. Guiding the young boys from my home town really gives me immense satisfaction and sense of belongingness," giving information, Arun told Sports & Allied News, here. Supported by a group of dedicated footballers, Arun shall be holding two-day trails to pick up the right stuff for the 10-day coaching camp. "The trials shall take place at JU ground from July 26 from 4.30 onwards," he said. The aspiring players have been advised to come to the venue in proper kits and positive frame of mind. In all, 25 suitable boys will be selected during the trails for the coaching classes. During the camp, the boys will also be visited by sports medicine experts and physiotherapists. "I'm thankful to the Vice-Chancellor, Prof Varun Sahni and Director Sports and Physical Education, Prof Dhian Singh Bhau of JU for being kind enough in offering infrastructure for the coaching camp," Arun maintained.
