Jammu, July 23: Rashida Begum former municipal corporator in a statement has said that as corporator she took keen interest in rapid development of her ward. She said, lanes and by lanes which were in dilapidated conditions were re-constructed.
Beside new electric poles were installed and old ones were replaced. All the funds kept for the ward were fully utilized. Drainage systems in the ward are improved and cleaned and the heavy rains which lashed the city has no bad effect on the residents.
She demands that the concerned agencies and the district administration should take steps for further development of the ward. She also demands the concern MLA should visit the area and provide funds for its development.
