| Shobha Yatra taken out in Bishnah | | | BISHNAH | OCT 22 A grand shobha yatra was taken out by the residence of the town on the eve of Vishwakarma Day here today. The shobha yatra was jointly organized by Vishwakarma Society, Bishnah and OBC unit Bishnah. The rally started at 11. A.M from by-pass, Bishnah and passed through Main Bazaar of the town. Among others who joined the shobha yatra were Corporataors, Bansi Lal, Anuradha Panday, president OBC, unit Bishnah, Tilak Raj Verma, Ved Raj Dogra, Ramesh Chander, Harbans Lal, Madan Lal, Bodh Raj, Ashok Kumar Panday , Jagdish Raj and Chaman Lal Dogra and threw light on the teachings of Lord Vishwakarma and its importance in day to day life of artisans. The speakers said, no society can sustain without artisans as they are back bone of the society but it is very strange and un-fortunate that the govt. both at state and centre ignore this poor class of the society. On the occasion speakers said, government declare holiday on this day. They said, teachings of Lord Vishwakarma are not for a particular community or religion, but for all the speakers urged upon the govt. that some scheme for the welfare of the artisan be launched, so that they are able to face the challenges in the world. They urged the artisans be united and fight for the nights. Throughout the country this day is celebrated and people perform puja of Vishwakarma. The organizers also arranged ‘ Bhandara’ on the occasion.
