| BSF Commandant offers sweets to Pak Rangers on Diwali | | | R S Pura | OCT 22
As the efforts are on full swing to strengthen the bond of friendship between India- Pakistan, the frequency of the exchange of greetings on Suchetgarh Border post is increasing with the passing times. Today on the festive occasion of “Diwali”, Raj Kumar Negi, 2IC- 129Bn BSF met with the Pakistani Ranger for the five minutes and gave him sweets.
From the Pakistani side, 13 Jawans, 2 officers along with their kids visited this side of border. It is to be mentioned that a similar kind of function was held on 15 August this year. On, Oct’24 Pakistani side is expected to reciprocate with the sweets on the occasion of Eid.
