| Randhawa re-elected as President Gandhi Nagar Mandal | | | JAMMU | OCT 22
Choudhary Vikram Randhawa was unanimously elected as the President of BJP’s Gandhi Nagar Mandal for the second consecutive term, in the meeting held at Trikuta Nagar. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of State Vice President and party’s Election Commissioner Th. Ranjit Singh. Shiv Kumar Gupta, Distt President and Dy. Election Commissioner Arun Khanna were also present during the meeting.
Vijay Kumar (President ward no. 52) forwarded the name of Randhawa for the president ship, which was seconded by Vikas Sharma (President ward no.21). Later, speaking on the occasion, Randhawa expressed his gratitude towards all for unanimously electing him as Mandal President for the second consecutive term. Thanking Party High Command for reposing faith on him, Randhawa assured everybody to continue all his good work. He also vowed to revive the party base in the mandal. Among others present on the occasion were Shiv Chander Verma and Suresh Jamwal (both corporators), Arun Khosla, Ashok Dutta and many other party workers.
