| GM appeals CM to ensure basic amenities | | | Early Times Report
Poonch, July 25: President of Gujjar Mahasabha (GM), Tehsil Surankote, Sajaad Ahmad Khattana conducted a tour of remote villages of the area.
In his tour, Sajjad found various schools and dispensaries not functioning properly as most of the health and educational institutions are without proper staff.
Khattana expressed his concern on the deplorable condition of the buildings and lack of proper staff.
The locals made him aware about the deplorable condition of the villages, particularly the road connectivity, dilapidated condition of the high school, which could fall any time.
The villagers complained that the teachers remain absent from the school due to which students are suffering.
Khattana appealed to the Chief Minister to personally intervene for ensuring basic amenities to the people of the area so that they are able to lead a proper life. |
