| 10 days’ teacher’s training programme organized | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 25: A special session was organized by Zonal Resources Group, S.S.A, Zone Satwari today in 10 days in-service Teacher Training Programme at Govt. Girls Hr. Sec. School, Satwari in which 63 Teachers, 10 CRPs/ZRPs were present. In this special session Nasreen kouser, Zonal Education Officer, Satwari, delivered a guest lecture on "role of women folk in the development of society" and stressed upon the teachers to remove the gender bias for the development of country, Kouser further said that without women folk the whole universe is uncolored and tasteless. She said that a woman is the first and last creation of God which has no answer. While quoting the names of Rani Jhansi, RAzia, Sultan, Sarojani Naidu, Sonia Gandhi, Sania Mirza, and others, she said that women are working in every filed of life today and are proving their power and intellignec. Kouser stressed upon the teachers that they should pay special attention for girl students in the schools, and prepare them to perform the role of good daughter, good wife, good mother and above all a responsible citizen of the country. Earlier N.A Qurashi well known Urdu writer and course coordinator of the Teacher Training Programme while presenting welcome address said that S.S.A and RMSA are already working for the better qualification and upliftment of girl students and such a lecture shall be moral of the teachers and they will hard to remove this gender bias. |
