| Diploma Engineers hail efforts of R&B minister | | |

Jammu, July 25: The diploma engineer in a meeting chaired by its president R.S Jasrotia have hailed the assurance given by the R&B minister G.M Saroori that all the genuine demands of the diploma engineers will be met.
Jasrotia further said that the minister accepted that the meager quota of 20% shall be released in full and added that minister in the meeting desired that the engineers at gross root level should ensure early completion of development works with proper specification. The members of the associations in the meeting held on July 21 at civil secretariat, Jammu, assured the minister that no state shall be left un-turned in this respect.
Speaking on the occasion Jasrotia said that in the recent past vigorous persuasion by association, while govt. tired to release some relief in the shape of long waited promotions of Junior Engineer the vested interest and anti cadre elements to hide their misdeeds, understandably clung to their strategy of blackmailing and false accusations, against the authorities by misleading the vigilance organization also as they have become habitual encroacher of posts which otherwise belong to Diploma Engineers.
He appealed the Minister and authorities to give no heed to such elements. |
