Sehgal Memorial Trust and Jammu and Kashmir Centre for Creative Arts in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages organized a Audio and Vedio CD Release function of Arjun Singh Manhas an Punjabi Singer today K.L.SaigaL Hall, Jammu . Ashok Khajuria MLA, (BJP) was the Chief Guest where as Sham Sunder Anand Lehar, Sr. Advocate Supreme Court of India presided over the function and Jenab an Pt., Kewal Krishan Sharma, President J &K Centre for Creative Arts was the Guest of Honour. Earlier in his welcome address O.P. Sharma, Dy. Secretary Cultural Academy, said that Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages, will conduct more programmes for the younger aItists of J&K State during the current financial year. He further said thM JKAACL will also honour talented artists of the State in near future. Pt. Kewal Krishan Sharma, President, JKCCA said that the NGO will create atmosphere and organize camps for the preservation of Visual, Plastic Art and for the younger kids in the field of Music. Sham Sunder Anand Lehar, SJ. Advocate Suprenw of India, said that: programmes for the younger generation will be organized in a phased manner so that youths of Rural as well as Urban areas will participate and learn more. Ashok Khajuria, MLA ' said that doors of the Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages are opened and the youth particularly the artists and writers are invited to express their views with the general public. |
