BBA, BCA counselling underway at JU | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, July 25: The Counselling for BBA and BCA admissions for the 2010 academic session was successfully completed on day two today. The counseling process which started yesterday has received a very good response from admission seekers. Giving details about the counseling schedule and the seats to be filled in various Government and Non Government colleges, affiliated to Jammu University (JU), Director Colleges Development Council (CDC), JU Prof Rajive Gupte said," The response of the students for seeking admission to these courses has been quite encouraging so far. Approximately 3786 seats in 75 colleges (17 Government and 58 Non Government) are expected to be filled in the counseling process which shall be underway till July 31. 'A total number of 33% seats earmarked under various categories are reserved under each course in Governmentt colleges which are filled after due verification of the documents by a panel of experts,''informed Dr Jatinder Khajuria, Joint Director (CDC) Jammu University. |
