Karl Mark in relation to India
By DARE DEVILS7/26/2010 10:15:33 PM
All the social and intellectual relations, all religious and legal system, all the theoretical outlooks which emerge in the course of history are derived from the material condition of life". The world realist was born on May 5, 1818 in Treve in Rhenish Prussia in Germany. He devoted all his life for the cause of poor and needy and for this he left no stone unturned to make poor aware of the age old exploitation against poor and helpless and for this he published 'Philosophy of poverty'. 'A contribution to the critique of political economy' along with famous 'Communist Manifesto' and 'Das Capital'. The philosophy of Karl Marx left deep impact on future generations and will continue to haunt the brains of the world. Although the exploitation as witnessed in the history was always there but the industrial revolution era of eighteenth and nineteenth century compelled Marx to raise voice against capitalist democracies. No doubt man by nature is a social animal but the moment he enters into material environment he becomes money minded. The industrial revolution increased the man's mad race for money and the poor begin to become poorer. With advancement in the material conditions and technological systems at the hands of big industrial houses and elites the governmental institutions were broadened and different organs all countries. It was nothing but mature stage of Capitalism. Karl Marx and many other thinkers supporting him at once realised this and they succeeded upto some extent but what is needed today is another Karl Marx to end the capitalism in every Country including India where after freedom fighters who were economically sound got Independence in 1947 from British rule who had entered here just for economic motive. After independence the poor masses were very optimistic of future India but money is winning everywhere though some poor masses have reached upto minimum standard of living just because of their success in this economic competition and rest who haven't been able to develop relations with big industrial houses and elite class and who have shown honesty are worst sufferers. India is biggest democratic Cou try in the world in theoretical framework but what is happening in the country needs to be understood. Like other countries In India the legislatures are elected by masses but in reality elections are influenced by money. Majority of Indian voters are carried away by bribe of blue eyed politicians. Not only voters but also representatives need huge sums of money for getting party tickets. Once representatives are elected they satisfy all the needs of capitalists and keep the common masses satisfied with hand to mouth living. The thousands of crores of rupees are given to various states of the country annually. Where does this money go? Does it reach to the poor? If so why thousands of Indian villages are without electricity, clear drinking water facility, road connectivity, health facilities, education etc. Isn't it the game of capitalists and power hungry leaders just to appease rich and corrupt beaureaucrats to remain in power? A glance at Indian legal system will show that justice is only for rich. The so called rights, liberties and other privileges granted by our constitution are enjoyed by rich only. In our country it took several years for a pity case to be decided. How we can expect from a poor man to pay lawyers fees with meager salary? Besides, the illiterate masses can't understand their rights on the other hand rich class have many ways and means to get justice. Education which is believed to be only weapon to create heaven on the earth is also being controlled and guided by capitalists. Even if we believe that in our country also all opportunities are given on the basis of qualification and ability but for this again capitalists are winners. Who are most qualified? Those who get education and training in private educational institutions who charge huge fees and where doors for poors are closed for obvious reason. Mass Media which is called the fourth pillar of democracy and which has a responsibility to fight for the poor is also controlled by the rich class. Big Industrial houses have established the media institutions whose aim is to keep politicians under their control. They never care for the poor masses. As it is impossible for the poor to start newspapers or T.V channels they never get a voice. On the whole the poor are being caught in the vicious circle of poverty and the gape between rich and poor is widening day by day and the inflation which is responsible for this is being artificially created to further aggravate the problem. Isn't Marxian concept of state correct?
