NC announces ward committee for Mohalla Paharian

National Conference ( NC) is committed for the upliftment of the poor section of the society, said Sr. NC Vice –president Rattan Lal Gupta while addressing people of Bohria Community a meeting at Mohalla Paharian. The meeting was organized by district president Jammu URBAN Chander Mohan Sharma.
Gupta said, that Late Sher-e-Kashmir, Sheikh Mohammed Abdullah had done a lot for the welfare and development of the community. He said it was Sheikh Sahib who made a colony at Qasim nagar fro the community. He asked the community to unite themselves and highlight problems to help and redress their grievance. He lambasted at the present coalition government for its failure to provide old age pension to the poor old aged pensioners.
Addressing the meeting district president URBAN Chander Mohan Sharma said under the leadership of Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah is committed for the welfare of the poor and down trodden section of the society. He also said that there is acute of drinking water and electricity in city and no efforts have been taken by the concerned departments to provide regular water supply and electricity in Jammu City.
He stressed upon state government to ensure regular water supply and electricity to the people of Jammu City.
Sharma urged upon the government to ensure that Sitli Filtration Plant is started at he earliest. On the occasion Ward Committee of Mohalla Paharian, which included Varyam Singh, Makhan Singh, , Om Prakash, Rattan Singh, Niranjan Singh, Shanker Singh ,Balwant Singh, Prakash Singh, Satpal Singh, Darshan Singh, Kalo Devi, and Satto Devi.
Ravi Dogra, District Youth National Conference URBAN, called upon the youth to work unitedly and strengthen the hands of party and its leadership. No efforts have been made even to provide self employment. He said if government fails to provide jobs to the unemployed youth and other issues National Conference has no option than no fight for the public importance issues.
Pardeep Bali, vice-president, Hilal Beig, Jt. Secretary Jammu URBAN, S.Sucha Singh, Block President YNC Jammu West and Krishan Lal Tak also addressed the meeting.
