| United Diploma engineers hold meeting | | |

Jammu, July 26 : The United Diploma holders in a meeting chaired by president Ex. Upender Singh criticized the functioning of Diploma Engineers association and remind its leadership of long pending demands i.e. restoration of entry level grade maintance of cadre strength at every level, enhancement of fixed TA, restoration of selection Grade of JE and refuted the claims made by its leadership as its achievement in promotion of 20 Diploma Engineers which is a routine matter.
As per press release members expressed their deep resentment over the delay in conducting election of DEA Jammu which is due since the year 2003, as fresh election have been successfully conducted in Kashmir, thereby denying the cadre of their right to exercise of voting.
Keeping in view the resentment among the cadre United Diploma Engineers Welfare Forum approached Er R.S Jasrotia president, DEA number of times to get election conducted which he is avoiding by misleading the cadre through claims as DEA has failed at all levels in achieving the demands of Diploma Engineers for lust of power and their personal gains. Others who spoke on the occasion include Er Majit Singh, Er Gopal Badyal, Er. Sayeed Tariq and Er Pradeep Fotedar. |
