| LOK Adalat settles 273 cases | | |
EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, July 26 (JNF):- A Permanent Lok-Adalat was held today held in the District Court Complex Janipur Jammu under the chairmanship of. BL Bhat Principal District and sessions Judge Jammu who is Chairman District legal Service Authroity. Three Benches were constituted in this Lok Adalat.
Bench No 1 comprising BL Bhat Principal District & Sessions Judge Chairman District Legal Services and Sanjeev Kumar Bhagat Addiitonal District Matrimonial Cases Jammu took up 35 matrimonial cases and settled 25 cases in which 30.63 lacs was awarded as permanent alimony.
Bench No 2 comprised YP Bourney CJM Jammu and RK Wattal Electricity Magistrate Jammu, took up 82 cases of petty/minor criminal matters and settled 51 cases.
Bench NO 3 presided over by Naushad Ahmed Khan Additional Mobile Magistrate Traffic Jammu took up 205 traffic cases and decided 197 cases. --JNF
