Jammu, July 26: The Youth Sharnarthi Action Committee of PoK refugees in a meeting held under the leadership of RC Sharma president of the organization had threadbare discussion over the appointment of Vice Chancellor for Jammu Central University. The meeting authorized RC Sharma to send a memorandum to the present of India, Prime Minister and Union Minister for Human Resources Development for appointing a person belonging for Pok area of Jammu province, as Vice Chancellor of Jammu Central University. Meeting also strongly supported the demand of the people of Jammu province. The name includes SS Lehar, a prominent Urdu writer and Senior Advocate of Supreme Court, Prof. Dr. NR. Sharma retired Head of education department and provost of Jammu University and Dr. Rajinder Singh, Principal, Government Medical College, Hospital, Jammu. The members also urged that the appointment of any person by the government out os these three personalities will certainly meet the aspirations of People of Jammu province and shall bring confidence among PoK refugees. The others who attended the meeting are included Kamal Gupta, Iqbal Singh, Harmeet Singh, Veena Sharma, Baldev Singh, Jasvinder Kour, Monika Sharma, Parveen Raina, Tilak Raj Sharma and Monika Sharma.
