KATHUA, JULY 26: Six higher ranks officers are attached and their salaries have been withheld on the charges of irregularities in their official work. In order, to maintain regularities in the government offices a team led by DDC Kathua Sanjeev Verma conducted a surprise visit and attached six officers of higher ranks-Block Divisional Officer Kathua Manpreeet Kour, Legal and Metrological Officer Kathua RK Sharma, District Soil Conservation Officer Kathua PK Kudiyar, XEn PHE Kathua Narinder Singh, XEn Irrigation Kathua BB Gandotra and DFO Social Forestry BK Bhagat. Their salaries are with held and show cause notices have been issued to the erring officers to clear their position. DDC Kathua Verma in clear cut manner has also asked other officers to remain present in their respective offices during working hours to escape from action.
