| SOLDIER DIES AFTER FALL FROM HIGH ALTITUDE POST | | |

An army jawan posted in Udhampur district in the Signal unit died on Monday after a fall from his altitude post which he was guarding in the wee hours.
According to defence spokesperson, the deceased jawan must have ventured out of the post to attend natures' call before falling from the hill top.
The spokesman said that the body was retireved from the base of the hill top and was sent for postmortem.
