| TIC Ramnagar organizes debate contest | | |

RAMNAGAR, July 31: Tehsil Information Centre (TIC), Ramnagar organized a debate contest on the topic "Uses and Abuses of Electricity" in the premises of Government Girls High School, Ramnagar here today. Meenakshi clinched first position while Deepishi Dogra and Ayushi Verma bagged second and third positions respectively in the contest. Two consolation prizes were also given to Prabha and Priynka. The other participants were awarded prizes and certificates of merit by the department of Information.
As many as 16 students drawn from different classes of Government GHS, Ramnagar took part in the debate and expressed their views on the topic.
Speaking on the occasion, the Headmaster of the School, Adish Rattan lauded the efforts of J&K Information Department in organizing the event of great importance in his school.
