| `Consider petitioners for selection of registrar in GMC' | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, July 31: In a writ petition filed by seven doctors in service seeking selection for the post of Registrar/Demonstrator in the Govt Medical College, Jammu. Justice Sunil Hali of J&K High Court Jammu Wing after hearing counsel for the petitioner issued notice to the state of Jammu & Kashmir through Commissioner/Secretary Health & Medical Education Dept, Principal GMC Jammu and Director Health Services Jammu returnable within four weeks. Meanwhile, it is directed that respondents while making selection to the post of Registrar/ Demonstrator in Govt Medical College Jammu to consider first these in service candidates having one year experience and are eligible under J&K Medical Education (Gazetted) Service Recruitment Rules 1997. Court further directed that in case the petitioner has applied for the post in question through Director Health Services Jammu their application forms shall be forwarded to the Selection Committee for consideration forthwith. ---JNF
