Kashmir situation be dealt with iron hand: KPs | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, July 31: Various Kashmiri Pandit organisations jointly expressed concern over deteriorating law and order situation in the state and demanded that situation should be dealt with iron hand here, today. Addressing the media persons, president, All State Kashmiri Pandit Conference (ASKPC) A .N. Vaishnavi said the present situation in the valley needs to be dealt with a firm hand, whereas the state government is pooh-poohing the secessionist elements. He further said that the so-called innocent protesters over which hue and cry is being raised are not innocent but will directed and funded saboteurs who have held the entire administration of the state to ransom. "These saboteurs have used stone pelting as a weapon to blackmail the nation and paralyze the state administration", he added. In his address, president PK Ashwani Kumar Chrungoo said that the government again is creating a vested interest in the continuation of militancy by announcing jobs and sops. The joint forum express satisfaction on the recent statement of the Prime Minister of UK David Cameroon on his visit to India that Pakistan needs to stop export of terrorism to India. Prominent among other who were present on the occasion included H L Chatta, D N Kissu, and Virender Raina besides others.
