Government today issued orders of the adjustment of following Superintendents of Police, who were placed as such on officiating basis in their own pay and grade: Shakti Kumar Pathak is posted as Additional SP Jammu (Rural) against clear vacancy, Javed Ahmad Koul is posted as SP Hazratbal Srinagar, Mr. Bakar Hussain Samoon is posted as Deputy Commandant IR-7th Bn. against clear vacancy, Romesh Kumar Bhat is posted as Deputy Commandant IR-11th Bn. against clear vacancy, Sheikh Junaid Mehmood is posted as Additional SP Baramulla against clear vacancy, Shahid Mehraj Rather is posted as Additional SP Kupwara vice Mr. Bashir Ahmad Mukhdoomi, Romesh Kumar Angral is posted as Deputy Commandant JKAP 9th Bn. against clear vacancy.

Meanwhile, an official handout released here today said that consequent upon the above, the transfer of following Superintendents of Police is hereby ordered: Pankaj Maghu Additional SP Kistwar is transferred & posted as Commandant IR 13th Bn, Mr. Virender Sharma Additional SP Doda is transferred & posted as Commandant IR 12th Bn.
3. Mr. Ashok Sharma SP (OPG), Additional SP Baderwah & Mr. M. L. Mehra SP (OPG), Additional SP Katra shall swap their places of postings.
4. Mr. Zakir Hussain SP (OPG), Additional SP Spore is transferred & posted as Deputy Commandant JKAP 14th Bn. against clear vacancy.
5. Mr. Abdul Razaq Khan, SP (OPG), Additional SP Srinagar is transferred & posted as Additional SP Udhampur (Ops). He will draw pay against the post of Deputy Commandant IR-6th Bn.
6. Mr. Rafiq Ahmad Vakil, SP (OPG), Additional SP Anantnag is transferred & posted as Deputy Commandant, IR 10th Bn. against clear vacancy.
