| Inter-school shooting meet from August 6 | | |

JAMMU, July 31: Organised by the Jammu and Kashmir Rifle Association, the three-day annual inter-school shooting competition shall take place from August six to August eight at Gulshan Ground, here.
The competition will become basis for the selection of state team for the XIV All India Kumar Surindra Singh Inter-school Shooting Championship in Air Weapons to be held at Rattan Convent School, Faridabad in Uttar Pradesh from October 20.
As per a handout issued here today, only those shooters who attain a minimum score 75 per cent in peep sight Air Rifle/Pistol and 60 per cent in open sight rifle can take part in XIV All India Kumar Surindera Singh Inter School Shooting Championship in Air Weapons. The Association has asked the participants to bring with themselves an attested copy of the Date of Birth Certificate at the time of entry. Entry form along with entry fee of Rs150 per shooter individual/team should be deposited at shooting range Gulshan Ground on or before August 26.
