JAMMU, July 31: Pre-quarterfinals line-up has been drawn with the entry of eight more cueists in the third round of senior snooker event in the ongoing 20th State Billiards and Snooker Championships at Billiards Hall, MA Stadium, here under the banner of J&K Billiards and Snooker Association.
Prominent among today's winners were Vishal Abrol, Jaideep Manocha and Nikhil Kapahi while those lost included Umar Himayuoon and Nitin Sharma.
Both Vishal and Jaideep registered easy straight frame wins. While Jaideep beat Jammu district junior champion, Nitin Sharma, Vishal outplayed Sachin Sant.
Today's matches were officiated by markers, Surjit Singh Baloria and Rakesh Sharma. Meanwhile, according to the organizing secretary, the third round of pre-quarterfinals shall be played from tomorrow.
