| JKMEF hail release of DA, appeal for conceding other demands | | |

While hailing the Government decision about release of DA and enhancement in Medical Allowance, the Jammu and Kashmir Medical Employees Federation, Original (JKMEF) in an urgent meeting of the Association has demanded acceptance of other demands put forth by the employees.
The meeting chaired by its President Dharamindar Singh Bhargav reiterated its demand for regularization of adhoc employees, holding of Departmental Promotion Committee meeting of Class IV employees in Health Department and enhancement in retiring age to 60 years against 58 years.
The employees in a joint appeal have urged the state government employees in general and health employees in particular to be united for fulfillment of their pending demands.
Paramjeet Singh, General Secretary JKMEF, R K Sharma, Mohammed Latif, Kulwant Singh, Govind Ram, Sarooj Toshkahana, Arvind Dogra, Manmohan Singh, Sohan Lal and Sham Paul participated in the meeting.
