| Guru Ladho Re-Diwas celebrated at Kotli Shah | | |

Guru Lahdo Re-Diwas 2006 Bhai Makhan Shah Lobana was celebrated at Kotli Shah Daula R.S Pura, Jammu with religious fervour in which former SGPC president Bibi Jagir Kour and Dr. Rattan Singh Ajnala M.P & former cabinet minister Punjab participated and spoke about Bhai Makhan Shah Lobana.
When there was great confusion amongst Sikh Sangat about Ninth Guru, then Bhai Makhan Shah Lobana who was a top most merchant of that time prayed his almighty that his sea vessel was in danger and was likely to sink, he prayed before the Ninth Guru to help him in crisis and he will pay thousands of golden coins, his prayers were answered and to keep his promise when he reached Baba Bakala he could not find the right prophet. Finally after long he reached Guru Teg Bahadur Ji, where he was shown the injured shoulders of Ninth Guru who factually helped Bhai Makhan Shah Lobana in his crisis. Overwhelmed with joy, he went to the top of the roof and announced on top of his voice to the world that “Guru Ladho Re” (Meaning he has found the right Guru).
All the participants were received by chairman of Lobana Baradari S. Chatter Singh at Bari-Brahmana, and warm welcome was accorded to Bibi Jagir Kour and Dr. Rattan Singh Ajnala.
The members who participated included Satinder Pal Singh Sethi Member DGPC, Dewan Singh, Mastan Singh, Jaswant Singh, Santokh Singh , Payara Singh, Gardhara Singh, Bachan Singh, Puran Singh, Satnam Singh. Gurmeet Singh, Tejinder Singh, Attar Singh.
