| Anjuman Farogh Urdu organizing Diwali –Eid-Milan | | | JAMMU | OCT 23 The Anjuman Farogh Urdu is organizing Diwali and Eid Milan party at Danish –Kadah on October 29. This was disclosed in a meeting held under the chairmanship of Amin Banihali here in the other day. According to press release secretary of the Anjuman drew the attention of the members towards the popularity of Urdu language amongst non-urdu writers. It was told that a well known Hindi Poet Mahakavi Kashi Nath Pandey has recently in a meeting observed that Urdu script and pronouncement of words is so beautiful and enchanting that one gets automatically attracted towards this language. He said Hindi and Urdu should play a role for integration and solidarity in the language arena of the country and advised that non-urdu knowing persons must this language. Members of the Anjuman appreciated the assertions of the Mahakavi and once again expressed great concern of the government of Jammu and Kashmir for neglecting this language for no reasons and the language that is the constitutional and official language of the state. In the poetic sitting following recited their compositions: Amin Banihali, Betab J. Puri, Malik Abdul Latief, Ushaaq Kishtwari, Maharaj Krishan, Sham Talib, Nissar Dehlvi, Amin Sabunia and Khurshid Kazmi.
