| Charak visits Hazratbal, Jama Masjid | | | Srinagar, October 24–Minister for Roads and Buildings Mr. Gulchain Singh Charak today visited various areas in the Srinagar city including Hazratbal shrine and Jama Masjid and took stock of the arrangements regarding Eid-ul-Fitr.
The minister reviewed supply of electricity, drinking water, sanitation, medicare as also availability of essential commodities. He directed the concerned agencies to ensure that people do not face any difficulty and all arrangements are put in place. He also instructed the engineers to make immediate repairs to the Lal Bazaar-Hazratbal road.
Mr. Charak also interacted with the people of various localities and heard to their problems. He told them that government is making all out efforts to redress these.
Chief Engineer, Roads and Buildings and a team of senior officers accompanied the minister.
