| Havan to mark Dogra’s birthday | | | EARLY TIMES REPORTER JAMMU | OCT 24 BJP performed havan pooja on the occasion of 123rd birthday of Pandit Prem Nath Dogra at party headquarters here today. Dogra’s portrait was garlanded by the party’s senior leaders and activists. BJP state president Dr. Nirmal Singh while remembering the tremendous contribution of Pandit Ji for Bhartiya Jana Sangh and Praja Paishad, said this great Dogra also popularly known as Sher-e-Duggar, devoted his whole life for the cause of the people and the nation. Nirmal Singh, said that Pt. Prem Nath Dogra Ji, the founder president of Praja Parishad, become All India President of Bhartuya Jana Sangh by their dedication and commitment. He said Pandit Ji opposed tooth and nail separate flag and separate constitution of the state and favoured full integration of Jammu and Kashmir with rest of the country. Dr. Nirmal Singh asked the party leaders and activists present on the occasion to follow the principles and teachings of Pandit Ji and work whole heartedly for unity and integrity of the country. He said we all should take pledge to get united in order to give a befitting reply to all those who are siding with the separatist forces in the state.
