JAMMU,Aug 11: THE Chamber of Commerce and Industry welcomed the announcement of the Prime Minister to set up an expert group for the employment of the youth in the state headed by Dr. C.Rangarajan, former Governor Reserve Bank of India.
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry termed it as positive step in the right direction which would go a long way to meet the aspirations of the people.
The Chamber feels that the constitution of the expert group must include representatives of Trade and Industry from Jammu region to broad base the scope of the expert group. This is necessary because Jammu has always been at the receiving end in all developmental tasks. Chamber feels that the point of view of Jammu region must be heard and considered. It is the duty of the Central Government to make sure that all sections of the Civil Society from all the three regions of the state should be duly represented.
