| Two PDD employees suspended | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Aug 11:Chief Engineer, EM&RE Wing, Jammu inspected Qasim Nagar and its adjoining areas of Channi Himmat along the By Pass falling under the jurisdiction of XEN EM&RE Division-II Gandhinagar Jammu. During the inspection, it was noticed that large number of illegal connections were running by slum dwellers of the Qasim Nagar and Channi Himmat along Bye Pass with the connivance of the PDD employees.
Pending enquiry in the matter, Mr. Deep Kumar, Tech-III and Balwant Raj, Tech-IV posted in the said areas were placed under suspension with immediate effect and attached with EM&RE Circle-1, Jammu by the Chief Engineer.
Meanwhile, a three member committee of officers is constituted to enquire/ investigate the whole matter and furnish facts and findings within 15 days to the Chief Engineer.
