| Corruption is only noticeable achievement of NC: PDP | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Aug 11:Flaying the National Conference led coalition for adopting anti-people policies, Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) leaders today exhorted party workers to launch a crusade against this regime.
Addressing one day convention of the party workers of Jammu rural, PDP leaders said that it was all due to the wrong policies of this regime that miseries of the people have been increased manifold during the last 18 months.
PDP leaders pointed that this regime was formed without any programme and policy and instead of solving basic problems of the common masses, Ministers of this government have been befooling the people by making false promises.
Pointing towards problems of farmers, PDP leaders said that this regime has been adopting anti-farmers policies and not interested in solving their problems of poor people. PDP leaders observed that since its formation National Conference led regime has not taken even a single step for mitigating miseries of the common masses.
PDP leaders, while pointing towards rampant corruption in the administration, said that legalizing corruption is the one and only noticeable achievement of this regime. They said that the present dispensation was one of the most corrupt and anti-people regime of the State and the present government has been repeating the same blunders which were committed by the previous National Conference regime from 1996 to 2002.
Cautioning people against gimmicks of ruling National Conference, PDP leaders said that government has been trying to hoodwink the people by raking up some irrelevant issues to divert attention of the people towards its failure.
