In a bid to give fillip to police public relationship promote communal harmony and foster the spirit of brotherhood among various communities beside ensure perpetual peace and tranquility in the area, a Diwali-Eid Milan party was hosted in the lawns of DPO Border yesterday.
The Milan was attended by police, Army, BSF and civil officers and their families besides prominent citizens of the area participated.
During informal interaction appreciated the good will gesture of border police and emphasized that such initiatives would help in long way in strengthening the police public rapport and mutual trust. The function and its organizing style has developed the feeling of friendship between police, public and other para military forces besides creating a vibrant harmony among the people of various religions and with different cultural backgrounds.
