PPF shocked over pro-Azadi sloganeering on JU campus | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Aug 12: Jammu Province People's Forum JPPF has expressed shock and grief over pro Azadi sloganeering in the Jammu University Campus by some vested interests which is said was who aimed to disturb the peace and communal amity in this region by spreading seeds of hatred among the different sections of the society. JPPF urged upon the Government to deal with the elements responsible for such a heinous action as per the law of the land. It also appea1ed the peace loving people of Jammu province to maintain perfect communal harmony and remain vigilant against the anti national elements. JPPF also condemned the proposed political package being worked out by the Government of India for the Valley & said instead of going for such a package, Government must concentrate on bringing normalcy in the valley and deal sternly with such elements who are working against the interest of the Nation which is the paramount need of the hour. JPPF also greeted Muslim brethren on the auspicious occasion of Holy Ramzan & prayed for all-round welfare of the people of the State. Besides the chairman Paviter Singh (Retd. Judge), others who were present include Inderjit Khajuria, Narayan Singh, M.S. Katoch., Rajesh Kesari, Agnishekhar, M.L. Sharma, Gajan Singh and various other JPPF leaders.
