Senior citizens concerned over Leh disaster

JAMMU, Aug 12: Association for Welfare of Senior Citizens has expressed grave concern over the tragic events caused due to grave natural disaster in Leh.
While expressing the need for helping the tragedy struck victims of the area, AWSC, in a special conveyed meet under the chairmanship of president Vikram Gour said, “ to help those affected adversely by the 'cloud burst', clothes, eatables, ration, utensils, medicines etc would be sent Leh. The donations can be sent through collection center at ground floor of Aquaf Building, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu where the donations will be received against receipt and sent to Leh by Air through Deputy Commissioner Jammu."
The members of AWSC conveyed their heart felt condolences to the families of those who lost their lives.
The meeting was attended by KK Mahajan, (PB Khajuria CE(Rtd), VN Sharma CE(Rtd), RM Sharma Joint Dir. (Rtd), Jag Mohan Gupta, JR Gupta, RC Gupta DGM (Rtd) and others.
