| PDP Mahila wing holds meeting | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Aug 12: A meeting of the Mahila wing of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was held today under the leadership of Shanti Devi, former MLA and president of Mahila wing.
Party workers from Jammu urban participated in the meeting in which discussion on the prevailing situation was held.
Speaking on the occasion, Shanti Devi said that present government headed by Omar Abdullah has failed on all fronts and people are facing all types of problems due to wrong policies of this government.
She said that every section of the society has been facing hardship because this government is not concerned about solving problems of the common masses.
She said that women are the worst victim of the wrong policies of this government. Shanti Devi called upon party workers to launch an agitating against this government.
Prominent among others who addressed the meeting included Bimla Billoria, Sudesh Kumari, Vimla Gujral, Veena Kumari, Rajni Kumari, Ram Pyari, Payaro Devi, Krishna Devi and Chanchala Devi.
