| ITBA felicitates commissioner Income Tax | | | Early Times Report
Jammu , Aug 12: Income- Tax Bar Association Jammu today felicitated newly posted J&K Commissioner of Income Tax (Administration) Ravi Sarangal & Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals) Sanjay Mishra.
The President of the association Advocate Sat Mehta warmly welcomed the guests and
desired resolution of the grievances of the Bar members with the active involvement of the senior officers. He suggested that necessary changes be brought in the data compilation of computerization system of the department so that superfluous demands are neither created nor timely issuance of refunds to the assesses are denied
General Secretary Advocate V.K.Grover introduced all the members of the association with the new incumbents. He said that Bar Association has high hopes of further strengthening of relationship bonds with the administration; resolution of grievances emerging from time to time and improvement of taxpayers' services. He further expressed confidence that both the officers shall experience their Jammu and Kashmir tenure as adventurous, fruitful and eventful despite this state presently being a disturbed territory and to serve here being a challenging assignment.
Commissioner Income Tax Mr. Ravi Sarangal while addressing the gathering assured that he shall be accessible to the Bar members any time and if they face any difficulty in resolution of their professional obligations they should not hesitate to approach him. He eXj9ressed hope that the proposal for lift which has already been forwarded to the concerned quarters shall be got through within a period of six months.
CIT (Appeals) Mr. Sanjay Mishra assured the members that he shall always endeavor timely justice delivery while dealing with appeal cases.
All the officers of the department including Additional Commissioner T.P.Singh ,
S.K.Sharma and Rakesh Kumar were present on the occasion.
