VHP for tough action against anti-nationals in | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Aug 12: Turning tough against the anti national elements an d secessionist forces in the state, Vishaw Hindu Parishad (VHP) today warned the Government that any further delay on its part in taking action against such forces would prove tantamount to national interests and demoralize the nationalist forces in the state. VHP international spokesman Dr Surinder Jain who was on a day’s tour to Jammu in connection with inauguration of annual Buda Amarnath Yatra was talking to reporters here today. The VHP leader who took serious exception to shouting of anti India slogans in Jammu recently by some youth owing allegiance to secessionist forces in Kashmir Valley said this is totally un tolerable and no nationalist people will allow this to happen in future. Mr Jain said Kashmir is an integral part of India and the accession made by Mahraja Hari Singh with Indian Union is unalterable. ``No one on earth can alter the accession made by the then Maharja not even his son Dr Karan Singh’’, he added. He said those who talk of Pakistan in Kashmir should keep this thing in mind that the people who supported Pakistan in 1947 were thrown out from this nation at that time and if any one in Kashmir still talks of Pakistan he should thrown in that country, he added. He said the nationalist people of Jammu will never tolerate the forces who were posing a threat to national unity and integrity but give a befetting reply to them. Mr Jain, while outrightly rejecting the greater autonomy for the state said the autonomy or Azadi are one and the same which is not acceptable to the people of India as a whole. Referring to the statement made by Prime Minster Dr Manmohan Singh in this regard, he said the saeparatists have rejected this totally and soon after PM’s announcement threee cops were killed by terrorists in Sopore. This was their reaction and they gave a signal that Government of India ahs bowed down before the separatists by accepting autonomy so the y will toughen their stance further to make GOI to bend further and accept their demand of Azadi, he added. He said PM should make a rethinking on his announcement and give a clear signal to separatists that there will be no talk on autonomy. The VHP leader was also critical of PM for talking of economic package to Kashmir and said that last 63 years maximum portion of funds and maximum jobs went to Kashmir. The PM has not realized the pain of Jammuites, Ladakhis or displaced Pandits who are in exile for last 20 years. The people of the country are disappointed with such statements which weaken the nationalist forces strengthen anti nationals and demoralize the security forces, he added. |
