In order to check illicit liquor, excise raids etc. were carried out on 25/26.07.2006 under the supervision of SSP Border Jammu Rajinder Gupta, IPS. The details of raids conducted, illicit liquor etc. seized and persons booked under are as during excise raid one Bishan Dass S/o Karam Chand R/o Tootray Tehsil R.S.Pura was arrested under 50-A Excise Act, under Miran Sahib police station. During patrolling/Checking two persons namely Thoru Ram S/o Balak Ram & Kulwinder Kumar S/o Balak Bhagat residents of W.No.4 R.S.Pura were arrested under section 207 Motor Vehicle Act i.e. driving without documents, under P/S R.S.Pura.
During checking one Scooter No. JK02-2476 was seized under 207 Motor Vehicle Act i.e. riving without documents. Moreover three vehicles were challaned under 3/181,146/196, 129, 177, 6/7,177/190 Motor Vehicle Acts i.e. driving without License / Insurance/ Helmut/ Pollution certificate etc, under P/S Arnia.
