| BJP chief escapes unhurt in road mishap | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Aug 12: The state BJP chief Shamsher Manhas and three other party functionaries escaped unhurt when a vehicle carrying them collided with a security vehicle at Nandi, about 23km from here, today.
Police said the vehicle carrying Manhas and other BJP leaders was badly damaged without causing any injuries to them when they were on way from Jammu to Udhampur to attend some party function there.
In another mishap, five policemen in an escort vehicle of BJP MLA Chaman Lal Gupta were injured when the vehicle rolled down near Domail, about 29km from here, this afternoon.
