| Lasjan demands judicial probe into Pakerpora killing | | | SRINAGAR OCT-24-Expressing grave concern over the killing of a 19- year boy at Pakherpora area of Badgam district, Senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Mir Lasjan has demanded a judicial probe into the killing.
In a statement Lasjan said that the killing of the innocent boy had sparked of demonstrations in the area adding that there seems no end to the human rights violation in the trouble torn State.
Demanding a high level probe into the killing, the senior Congress leader urged for constitution of a committee headed by a judicial officer to investigate the causes leading to the killing of the boy. ‘The judicial probe would definitely help to restore the confidence of the people’, he said, adding that those found involved should be sternly punished.
Lasjan has also demanded immediate grant of ex-gratia to the family members of the deceased.
